1) acquire a certain level of breathing technique, can sing in an ensemble with accurate intonation and enunciation and get to know the choral music literature.

COURSE CONTENTS
WEEKTOPICS
1st Week General information about choral music, history of choral music.
2nd Week Identifying voice groups and structuring the choir.
3rd Week Importance and application of breathing and relaxation exercises, phonation breathing exercises and their application.
4th Week Studying a monophonic choral piece and emphasizing the vocals on it, performing it as a canon
5th Week Performing vocal exercises to improve intonation and choral timbre.
6th Week Voice-breath-word connection exercises, breathing places in the piece.
7th Week Studying a 3-voice piece, ensuring harmony between parties
8th Week Midterm
9th Week Studying a 4-voice piece from the Renaissance/Baroque period
10th Week Studying the Turkish Folk Music piece for the choir.
11th Week Studying the Jazz Music piece arranged for the choir.
12th Week Singing exercises about nuance (Piano, Forte, Crescendo, Decrescendo).
13th Week Discourse studies on articulation (Legato, Marcato, Staccato).
14th Week Studying parts by dividing them into quartets.
