COURSE DEFINITIONENG 283 is an elementary (A2 level) course which aims to teach general English. The course aims to enhance students? knowledge of English language and vocabulary, and develop the four language skills (reading, listening, speaking, and writing).
COURSE CONTENTS

1st Week 1. Unit 1: Verb to be, possessive adjectives, verbs ha / go / live /like and possessive?s
2nd Week 2. Unit 1: Vocabulary (giving personal information, adjectives, members of the family)
3rd Week 3. Unit 2: present simple, questions and negatives
4th Week 4. Unit 2: Vocabulary (verbs and jobs)
5th Week 5. Unit 3: resent simple and adverbs of frequency
6th Week 6. Unit 3: Vocabulary related to free time activities and verbs
7th Week 7. Unit 4: there is / are, some / any / a lot of, this / that / these / those
8th Week 8. Unit 4: Vocabulary related to things in the house, things in the street, rooms and household goods, adjectives for good and bad, adverb + adjective
9th Week 9. Unit 5: can / can?t, adverbs, was / were / could, was born
10th Week 10. Unit 5: Vocabulary (words that go together) & prepositions
11th Week 11. Unit 5: Polite requests
12th Week 12. Unit 6: past simple and time expressions in the past tense
13th Week 13. Unit 6: Vocabulary (regular verbs, irregular verbs, describing feelings, describing things)
