At the end of this course, the students; 1) Knows the historical developments related to Turkey's Middle East policy. 2) Have knowledge about current problems and areas of cooperation and analyze current developments on this basis. 3) Analyzes the factors affecting Turkey's relations with Middle Eastern countries. 4) Understands the structure and reasons for the changes in Ankara's policies in various periods.

COURSE DEFINITION
The course covers the problems faced by Turkey in the Middle East, the attitudes that Turkey had to develop against these problems and the balance that Turkey had to protect in the light of internal and external conditions, and the effects of the particular problems in the Middle East on Turkey's domestic and foreign policies since the establishment of the Republic of Turkey.
