1) discuss the events and phenomena shaping the contemporary world of international relations.
2) learn how to reach the generalizable knowledge instead of speculations and political propaganda.
3) compare and evaluate theoretical and historical bases of international relations, and current developments in international relations.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course examines the developments in the international system after the collapse of the Eastern Bloc. Globalization debates and the factual dimensions of these debates are also within the scope of this course.
