At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gain the ability to explain and discuss the importance of society 5.0, its distinctive features, general stages, and differences from other industrial revolutions. 2) Gains the opportunity to discuss the main features of the society 5.0 components and make a comparison between these components. 3) Gains the ability to evaluate the importance, elements, positive and negative effects of society 5.0 components. 4) Acquire the ability to evaluate the reflections of society 5.0 applications in the dimension of business ethics and to develop a critical perspective towards these applications. 5) Gains the ability to compare and evaluate the applications of Society 5.0 in different sectors.

COURSE DEFINITION
With the 4th industrial revolution caused by the digital technology revolution, there is a need for a Smart Society that will develop these technologies, use the technologies and at the same time cope with the economic transformation and social change caused by digital technologies. Within the scope of this course, the philosophy of Society 5.0, which is essential for the transition to a quality life and an egalitarian welfare society, in line with sustainable development goals against the global problems that the human race has to cope with, and presented as a solution to the prejudices of humanity towards digital transformation, is examined with different aspects and the it is explained how government institutions, business world, companies, SMEs, academia and civil sphere can manage this social transformation.
