At the end of this course, the students; 1) Informed about forecasting techniques and have the equipment to determine the appropriate technique for a certain forecast situation. 2) Understands the importance of short-term operational decisions made in the field of Production / Operations Management on the competitiveness of enterprises 3) Learn about each of the short-term decision areas and learn what kind of numerical techniques can be used to make decisions in each area. 4) Improve the ability to apply numerical decision models 5) Learn to think in terms of the supply chain and understand the importance of chain success. 6) Have the equipment to evaluate the contribution of correct operating decisions to customer satisfaction and business success. 7) Gain knowledge of computer-based techniques that can be used in short-term planning.
