At the end of this course, the students; 1) Understand the use of materials in interior design as a design element alongside other design aspects. 2) Recognize the sophisticated technological materials utilized in interior design, as well as their qualities and ways of application. 3) To learn to design in the field of interior architecture by adopting and prioritizing the user's physical, psychological, and aesthetic needs. 4) Ensure that all furniture, equipment, and spatial elements in the interior are conceived and created with the selected material in mind. 5) Plan and implement design configurations that can accommodate diverse user groups, needs, and space configurations in national and international contexts. 6) To be able to generate unique, imaginative, aesthetically pleasing, and original spatial solutions in the interior employing new technology materials. 7) Produce sustainable and universal design solutions in an environmentally conscious approach while selecting and picking the interior application material.
