LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Competence of communication and effective usage of Turkish
2) Competence of constituting relation between historical, communal and economic conditions and art and design processes
3) Competence of speaking at a level making critics and comparisons about art theories and making analysis
4) Competence of speaking at a level making critics and comparisons about ethic theories and making analysis

COURSE DEFINITIONThe motto of the course is to analyze the interaction among universe, human, and nature with respect to artists, scholars, architects, philosophers and their works in the light of science, art and philosophy. The association between theories developed in esthetics and art works is explicated. Moreover, the basic problems of classic and modern esthetics are considered.
