LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) understand the current trends of the industry by analyzing the designs of leading brands in men's clothing.
2) create original clothing collections by improving their creative thinking and design skills.
3) increase their aesthetic understanding and material knowledge by doing moodboard studies and fabric trials.

5) carry out the practical application of the design by managing the mold work, prototype product development and production stages.

COURSE DEFINITIONTypes and features of men's clothing. Monitoring fashion trends in men's clothing. Do not manufacture a selected garment.
COURSE CONTENTS
WEEKTOPICS
1st Week Introducing the course, examining the leading brands in men's clothing and the designs exhibited in the competitions.
2nd Week Determining the subject of the project, conducting research on the subject
3rd Week Sketchbook (sketch) applications
4th Week Moodboard studies, fabric and surface tests
5th Week Determining the designs for the collection to be created.
6th Week Making illustrations and technical drawings.
7th Week Midterm
8th Week Making mold studies for the selected design and developing prototype products
9th Week Preparation of final molds
10th Week Completion of fabric and accessory research and starting the production phase
11th Week Continuing the production phase
12th Week Completion of the production stages, making the final controls of the product
13th Week Photo shoots
14th Week Completion of the portfolio
