LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) comprehend the basic weaving patterns.
2) determine a trendy theme and make designs suitable for single-layer weaving.
3) determine a theme suitable for trends and apply their designs suitable for single-layer weaving.
4) design and apply fabric texture using different materials.

COURSE DEFINITIONExamination of weaving design in terms of yarn, weaving and knitting together with technical equipment. Examination of contemporary fabric designs. Making sample weaving designs.
