LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Learn and use the design process information in footwear and leather craft product group
2) Perform analysis on specified theme, prepare an image sheet and colour scheme and use these on their designs, to develop and present original and creative ideas on texture, colour, form by using the knowledge on basic design principles and use these on their product design
3) Perform creative and original formalization and develop design by using the provided basic design principles
4) Perform the technical and detail analysis of designed products

COURSE DEFINITIONShoe and Saddlery Product group design process. Texture, color and form exercises in line with basic design principles. Designing shoes in line with fashion trends in line with a determined theme.
COURSE CONTENTS
WEEKTOPICS
1st Week Giving the knowledge on the design process of footwear and leather craft product group Performing the texture, colour and form practice in accordance with the basic design principles; explaining the formation and design methods and supporting a Project that will be prepared in accordance with the specified topic in order to strenthening.
2nd Week Image sheet study and preparation of a colour scheme, getting the original texture-material design study
3rd Week Sketch and sketch improvement period
4th Week Design process
5th Week Approval of designs and the transition of presentation sheet information
6th Week Midterm Exam
7th Week Checking of design and presentation sheet
8th Week It includes; Explaining the project information the delivery of Project Explaining the design improvement and the analysis of technical detail information in accordance with the design principles and supporting a Project that will be prepared in accordance with the specified topic in order to strengthening the knowledge.
9th Week Story board study and the preparation of a colour scheme, getting the texture and material designs.
10th Week Sketch and sketch improvement period
11th Week Transition to the design and design improvement process
12th Week Midterm Exam
13th Week Approval of designs; performing the design analysis
14th Week Checking of the design and technical analysis.Presentation sheet controls
