LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn to measure over the body. 2) Can draw the women's basic skirt pattern. 3) Learn to make skirt patterns with model applied. 4) Can make a basic trouser pattern. 5) Learn to make trouser patterns with model application.

COURSE DEFINITION	Introduction of formwork systems. Measurement over the body. The process of preparing clothing patterns.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Giving information about the general course, content and evaluation of the course 2nd Week Introduction of tools used in mold preparation, their features and points to be considered in use. Necessary dimensions and measuring techniques for the mold 3rd Week Necessary dimensions for the basic skirt pattern, pattern drawing 4th Week All pleated, cone, flared, circle skirt drawings 5th Week Piece skirt model drawings (6 and 8 piece skirt) 6th Week Skirt pattern drawings with model application 7th Week Skirt pattern drawings with model application 8th Week MIDTERM 9th Week Necessary dimensions for the basic trouser pattern, pattern drawing 10th Week Basic Pants pattern drawing 11th Week Model applied trousers pattern drawings 12th Week Model applied trousers pattern drawings 13th Week Model applied trousers pattern drawings 14th Week Model applied trousers pattern drawings 15th Week Model applied trousers pattern drawings
