At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gain the ability to comprehend the knowledge of Human Body Anatomy theoretically and practically. 2) Students gain the ability to comprehend the standard human body proportion and adapt it to their drawings. 3) Gain the ability to draw head and body parts and to study portraits with different techniques. 4) Gain the ability to distinguish and draw standard human body and Fashion Proportion. 5) Gain the ability to transform a chosen fashion pose into a fashion drawing. 6) Gain the ability to create original figures with their Fashion Drawing skills. 7) Can express shadow, light and human body in figures with different techniques. 8) Gain the ability to think in two and three dimensions. 9) Gain the skill of preparing color combinations and applying them in fashion drawings.

COURSE DEFINITION
Standard figure drawing from photo and live model. Creating a fashion figure from a standard figure. Showing the clothes on the figure, painting the figures with different techniques and materials, reflecting the light, shadow and pattern features on the figure. Drawings of face, hair, hands, feet, shoes.

1st Week
Introducing the materials to be used in the lesson, human body anatomy, free hand drawing of female silhouette (Getting to know the students)
2nd Week
Ideal female body proportions and features. Silhouette drawing in front stance with 1/8 proportion
3rd Week
Ideal female body proportions and features. Silhouette drawing in back stance with 1/8 proportion
4th Week
Researching fashion poses from magazine pages, basic principles of thinning, lengthening and activating a pose by changing it.
5th Week
Removing and lengthening the fashion pose determined from the magazine pages (Front-back posture)
6th Week
Refining the fashion pose determined from the magazine pages and animating it in different poses (Front-back posture)
7th Week
Midterm: Composing the reconstructed fashion figure in front-to-back stance
8th Week
Head and body parts drawings (Eyebrow, eye, nose, lip, hand, foot etc.)
9th Week
Body detail drawings
10th Week
Creating a fashion pose from magazine samples
11th Week
Midterm: Fashionable figure drawings with pencils in different poses (Front-back pose)
12th Week
Fashion figure drawings in different poses with colored and fixed pencils (Front-back posture)

Preparing a triple composition from the drawn figures
