1) They can carry out studies related to production and performance in their workplaces.
2) They can apply general psychology principles to work and workplaces.
3) They can explain the attitudes of the employees towards their jobs.
4) They can criticize job analysis, performance evaluation, selection and evaluation, leadership and employee motivation.
5) They can produce policies that will increase the motivation and commitment of the employees towards the organization.

COURSE DEFINITIONIn this course, students have knowledge of methods used to make the industry and organizational environment more productive and satisfying. In addition, they obtain information about how to approach problems in the field of industry and organization and how to increase employee motivation. The main topics of the course consist of the history of industrial/organizational psychology, the contribution of theories of motivation, stress, and burnout, use of power in organizations, efficient resource exchange, organizational culture, organizational change and development, and personnel selection.
