At the end of this course, the students; 1) Will learn political psychology and its fundamental concepts. 2) Will evaluate critically the major theoretical approaches in the field of political psychology. 3) Will analyze a particular problem within the perspective of political psychology approaches. 4) Will learn the major research methods used in political psychology.

COURSE DEFINITION
Political psychology is an interdisciplinary scientific which studies political behavior from a psychological perspective. Students are informed of the basic approaches and researches in political psychology. The course contains the chapters as political attitudes, leadership, political decision making, voting behavior and role of media, hate crime, war, genocide, peace and conflict resolution, culture and politics, social influence and propaganda, nationalism, and terrorism.
