At the end of this course, the students; 1) Can explain what learning is. 2) Summarize different learning theories. 3) Express the methods frequently used in scientific studies related to learning. 4) Follow the process required for learning to take place. 5) Plan the steps needed to change a behavior.

COURSE DEFINITION | The purpose of this course is to provide a deep investigation into the theories of learning. Through this course the students learn how different approaches and different theoreticians handle the subject of learning. The students are anticipated to gain comprehensive knowledge on variations among the methods of different theories of learning and the intricate designing of the experiments to test the assumptions of these theories. Thus, the students would be gaining knowledge on experimental methodology besides the theoretical knowledge. |
