At the end of this course, the students; 1) Distinguish the use of appropriate terminology and method in terms of qualitative research. 2) Develops specific skills, competences and perspectives needed by professionals in the field. 3) Forms a broader understanding of an intellectual-cultural activity. 4) Matches the appropriate data collection techniques with the right study area and participant profile. 5) Compares the differences and similarities between qualitative and quantitative research.

COURSE DEFINITION | This course aims to provide an introductory overview of the principles and practice of qualitative data analysis.
Students are informed about data collection methods and different methodological approaches used for qualitative
data analysis. Students are introduced different software used for coding qualitative data. Besides, within the scope
of this course, students gain experience in analyzing qualitative data and writing up of qualitative research findings. |
