LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Recognize the work carried out in laboratories representing different subfields of psychology. 2) Write a project proposal within the framework of ethical rules in any sub-field and prepare the project plan and budget. 3) Within the scope of any project, they collect data, analyze data and report the results. 4) Carry out a project from start to finish, either independently or in group work. 5) Produce solutions to problems that may arise during the project.

COURSE DEFINITION | Laboratory Studies is under the direction of the laboratories of the Department. Students enrolled in this course can join ongoing research projects in laboratories which represent different subareas of psychology or they can develop an independent research proposal and carry out data collection and analysis. This course is designed to enhance both individual research performances and group study skills of undergraduate students. The laboratories which will be used in this course is determined by the Department. |
