COURSE DEFINITION
This course aims to explore different definitions, constructions, and theoretical perceptions of gender and identity in America. Although it briefly surveys the history of women's status and the Suffrage movement, the course primarily focuses on the contemporary socio-cultural representations of gender and identity in different contexts.
