COURSE DEFINITIONThis course will familiarize students with the major literary genres and terminology that will be useful in the analysis of literary texts. Such genres as poetry, narrative, and drama will be the major focus of study. Students will be expected to use the basic vocabulary of literary study in their analysis of selected texts.
