COURSE DEFINITION
Building on the skills acquired through the Composition course, this course concentrates on formal essay writing skills and integrates these skills with critical reading and writing. The course analyzes different types of essay and also introduces students to skimming, scanning, summarizing, paraphrasing, and using secondary sources necessary for critical writing.
