1) Compare international monetary systems and point out their differences, similarities, and respective advantages and limitations
2) Describe the foreign exchange, futures and options markets
3) Explain exchange rate determinants and behaviors
4) Measure and manage exposure to exchange rate risk
5) Deal with special asset and liability issues of multi-national firms
6) Evaluate financial performance of multi-national firms
7) Demonstrate an understanding of core corporate finance concepts, theories and techniques as they relate to a multinational company
8) Demonstrate an understanding of exchange rate market details, products, systems, forecasts and arbitrage processes

COURSE DEFINITIONTheories and practical aspects of the international finance. An intensified study of international banking and finance as it relates to international trade and multinational corporations and the financing of imports and exports. Topics analyzed include; international payment mechanism, exchange market operations, derivatives, international capital movements, risk evaluation and protection, capital budgeting, and international financial institutions.
