| COURSE DEFINITION | Puppet making especially used by animator to make stop-motion. Students will make their own puppet and to move them in their film. |

| 1st Week | Introduction, lecture and video presentation on the structure of the course. | | 2nd Week | Introduction to character design and modeling. Sketch drawings. | | 3rd Week | Start modulating characters. | | 4th Week | Finishing the modeling, informing about the skeletal system. | | 5th Week | Making skeleton and starting to model the puppet on it. | | 6th Week | Finishing skeleton puppets. Video demonstration before pilot shootings. | | 7th Week | Make pilot shots with skeleton puppets. | | 8th Week | MIDTERM | | 9th Week | Information about cutout animation,introduction to design for puppets. | | 10th Week | Two-dimensional puppet production ends on the same day. | | 11th Week | Pilot shots for cutout animation. | | 12th Week | Lecture on new techniques related to puppet production. | | 13th Week | One-day workshop. | | 14th Week | General evaluation. |
