COURSE DEFINITIONAdvanced biomaterials in biomedical applications, relation of tissue and biomaterial. Blood and biomaterial interactions, biological mechanisms. Immune system response to biomaterials and inflammation. Detailed coverage of special biomaterial applications will be selected by the teaching staff.
