At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gain the ability to research needed to achieve the new knowledge in a field. 2) Gain the ability to understand and apply the basic sciences and engineering sciences related to their field at an advanced level. 3) Gain the ability to manage the process of research, detection, design, implementation and finalization at an original matter. 4) Gain the ability to make a comprehensive and innovative study that develops new scientific method or technological product/process or applies the known method to new field. 5) Improve the presentation skills for different groups in written, oral and visual enhances in a systematic way. 6) Gain the ability to make the assessment of ideas and developments in the field of expertise. 7) Contribute to science by publishing the results of studies in respected peer-reviewed journal.

COURSE DEFINITION | It is a thesis study that results in a presentation, in which students write their theoretical and/or practical (experimental) studies on Biomedical Engineering-related subjects under the supervision of a faculty member. Students present their work to the thesis monitoring committee once a semester during the thesis. The thesis work prepared at the end of the thesis is presented in front of a jury. |
