At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn analog and digital transmission technics.
2) Informed of wired and wireless transmission media. 3) Apply methods of error detection and flow control in data communication. 4) Know working principles of modems and multipliers.
5) Design local and wide area networks, identify rules and protocols for their management.
6) Know OSI model and its layers, model data communication in computer networks based on OSI layers.
7) Analyse and interpret routing protocols for computer networks.
8) Apply methods, tools and rules for security of computer networks.
