1) Learn about the theories and concepts in the field of public finance
2) Current issues related to the application in Turkey are an opportunity to discuss in the course agenda
3) Understand in-depth investigation of some microeconomic subjects like risk, uncertainty and contract theory.
4) Have a good understanding of the economics of information, and contract theory.

COURSE DEFINITIONWithin the framework of public finance course, students; The reasons for the existence of the public sector in economic life, the place and importance of the public sector in the economy, the financial instruments and application methods used by the public sector, political tendencies and expectations in public finance, and finally, the theories and concepts in the field of public finance will be explained. Current issues related to the practices in Turkey will also be included in the course agenda and opened to discussion.
