1) Define money and its aggregate measures
2) Demonstrate knowledge of the current monetary aggregates in the Turkey and how they have developed over recent years
3) Describe the functions of central bank, and its role in Turkey
4) Depict different types of bonds and the Turkish bond market
5) Analyze the impact of monetary changes on nominal income

COURSE DEFINITIONAn understanding of the nature and the importance of money. Comprehensive survey of the role of each of the major financial institutions; such as commercial banks, investment banks, central bank, stock markets. The emphasis of the course is on management of these institutions and the role of money in the financial system of the country.
