LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) To understand the structure and operation of financial system in market economies. 2) To visualize soruces of funds for business firms. 3) To understand the costs of sources of capital. 4) To think over the risks of the capital structure. 5) To evaluate the value of securities. 6) To read and understand the financial statements of business firms. 7) To evaluate and measure the riskiness of investments. 8) To grasp the importance of working capital.

COURSE DEFINITION	Financial decision making process will be covered in this module. Investment financing policies during inflationary times under risk and uncertainty, methods used in financial decision making,, cost of capital, cash flow concepts, time value of money, basic investment principles, and risk-yield topics will be analysed.
