COURSE DEFINITIONFinancial markets, institutions and instruments are thoroghly covered in this module where students also learn the structure, function, varieties and practice of these financial institutions and markets which affect both global and local economies on macro level. Also institutions like Treasury, Central Bank (TCMB), Istanbul Stock Exchange (BIST), Capital Markets Board (SPK), Settlement Bank (Takasbank) and other non-bank financial institutions will be explored.
