General Information
The Department was established in 2002. The Department is located at the Baskent University Baglica Campus which occupies a covered area of 681 acres of land. 2 Professor, 2 Associate Professors, 2 Lecturer (PhD), 3 Lecturer and 2 Research Assistants are currently working in the Department. When needed, part-time instructors are also employed. The decisions related with the Department are made by the Department Committee which is composed of all faculty members of the Department. The Department is governed by the Chairman and a deputy chairman.
Department of Social Work leading to an undergraduate degree started in the 2002-2003 academic year. Every year, 40 students are accepted to the program. Although the medium of instruction is Turkish, some courses are offered in English.
