General Information
Department of Biomedical Engineering started undergraduate education in 2001-2002. As of 2023, 7 Professors, 1 Associate Professor, 6 Assistant Professors, 1 Lecturer and 9 Research Assistants are working full time in the department.
Başkent University's English threshold policy and the fact that the language of instruction in the program is at least 30% English ensure that each student graduates by reaching a sufficient professional English level in their field.
Our senior students can complete their graduation projects in their 7th and 8th semesters within the framework of university-industry cooperation. Some projects are supported by TÜBİTAK. All projects are introduced to industry representatives with the Graduation Projects Exhibition.
Our students can benefit from the ERASMUS program offered by European Union member countries and gain experience abroad.
