General Information

The main goal of the Modern Languages Department is to provide our students with an opportunity to learn one or more foreign language other than English. Every term the elective foreign language courses are shaped in accordance with students' needs. Students can choose elective courses among the following languages: German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, French and Arabic. The courses aim to teach grammar, use the language effectively and more importantly get to know the cultural aspects of that specific language. Our Department aims to not only inform but also enable students to gain language skills. Following the international language education portfolio, there are two categories, basic and intermediate language education. As the Modern Languages Department our main aim is that the students graduate at the highest level in order to be a part of global contemporary requirements.
