LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gain the ability to comprehend the basic art and design knowledge theoretically and practically, and to apply the knowledge gained on this subject to what they learn 2) Gain the ability to associate/connect basic art and design skills with other fields and to produce original works. 3) Gain the ability to think in two and three dimensions, to communicate and to use Turkish effectively. 4) Gain the ability to express what he sees with a line, to transfer the form to the second dimension and the two-dimensional shape to the third dimension (form). 5) Gain the ability to see, communicate visually and express oneself.

COURSE DEFINITION	Recognizing the materials related to the lesson, learning the types of lines by experimenting, comprehending the composition and its elements, gaining the skill of measuring and proportioning the human body, drawing the straight stance from the live model and semi-moving stances in the front-back view.
COURSE CONTENTS	WEEK TOPICS 1st Week Placing on paper based on the live model 2nd Week Placing on paper based on the live model 3rd Week Beginning to use different drawing techniques while drawing 4th Week Using different drawing techniques while drawing 5th Week Starting to get to know the sense of space by adding the chair on which he sits while the live model is placed on the paper. 6th Week Working out the details of hand, foot, face, arm, leg, muscle structure while drawing the live model. 7th Week Midterm 8th Week Working out the details of hand, foot, face, arm, leg, muscle structure while drawing the live model 9th Week Applying different techniques in live model drawings 10th Week Handling the model with a more stained work with the la vie technique 11th Week Handling the model with a more stained work with the la vie technique 12th Week Reproduction copy work by placing the live model in any part of the selected composition 13th Week Reproduction copy work by placing the live model in any part of the selected composition 14th Week Drawing from the live model in the light of all the knowledge gained
