COURSE DEFINITIONIt is aimed to teach measurement, troubleshooting and testing at element and card level, reading circuit diagrams and databooks, to develop hand skill by making soldering application. The course includes intensive practice studies.

1st Week Course and general presentation of national electrical systems and grounding types,
2nd Week Resistance and capacitor fault diagnosis methods applied test methods.
3rd Week inductor and diode failures, practical test methods.
4th Week Transistor failure diagnostics, serial regulator applications.
5th Week Thyristor, triac, diak fault diagnosis methods applied test.
6th Week Photo transistor, photo diode, opto isolator fault diagnosis and test methods.
7th Week Fuse, role and transformer fault diagnosis and test methods.
8th Week Midterm Week
9th Week regulator applications.
10th Week Integrated circuit fault diagnosis, practical test methods.
11th Week Serial regulated power supplies fault diagnosis, test methods.
12th Week Fault diagnosis of switched power supplies; Test methods
13th Week General fault finding and repair methods on computers.
