COURSE DEFINITIONIt is a set of educational activities that take place in the first three semesters of medical education, aiming to develop students' independent learning skills, learn and apply the basic principles of scientific methodology, and gain the ability to present scientific studies in written and oral form.
COURSE CONTENTSIn this course, which is carried out in the form of group work, students are taught the ways and methods of researching a subject at an academic level.
RECOMENDED OR REQUIRED READINGRecommended by the consultant. The students will also refere in to the litterature related with the ongoing study.
PLANNED LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND TEACHING METHODSÖğrenciler öncelikle bilimsel araştırma metodolojileri hakkında bilgilendirilir. İkinci olarak, belirlenen bir konu kapsamında literatür taraması ve grup tartışmaları yapılır.
ASSESSMENT METHODS AND CRITERIAAt the end of the course, students present their work at the Student Symposium. Counselors evaluate and grade students considering all activities. This grade has a 4% effect on the success grade.
