LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Determines the fact that logic is both a science and a method, it also has methods and rules. 2) Examines the scientific method understanding of the representatives of the field. 3) Makes evaluations on logic, language and meaning. 4) Deepens his knowledge in the field of philosophy. 5) Makes evaluations about reasoning.

COURSE DEFINITION	A detailed, periodical study of the medieval era scholars? works on logic, language and meaning, built upon the Aristotelian foundation. The course ends with the early attempts for the mathematization of logic.
