Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
A variety of assessment methods such as quizzes, mid-term(s), assignment(s), exercise(s), project(s), practice(s), and final exams are implemented in the program. Assessment methods may include classical test(s), multiple-choice test(s), homework(s), performance evaluation(s), and product evaluation(s). In line with the credit system, the percentage of the in-term and final evaluations (exams, assignments, practice, and the like) should be declared by the course instructor to the head of the relevant department within the first two weeks of the semester and announced by the relevant unit. Final assessment, taking into consideration the level of overall achievement of all students taking the course, is to be determined by the academic staff member according to the letter grades indicated in the Regulations and also given below:
